Description

Southern Yellow Pine

As its name suggests, Southern Yellow Pine is native to the Southern United States. This species grows very well in the red clay soil found in most of the region.

Southern Yellow Pine’s density makes it the strongest softwood structural lumber species. Left natural or stained, Southern Yellow Pine’s wood grain pattern and golden color provides a unique and beautiful wood floor.
